Binks DeVilbiss MX series of pumps
--The Benz reciprocating knife cutter RCK1 uses a standard spoil board to hold work material. The unit can cut veneers, leather, fabric and other materials. The knife cutter is available to fit any models that have a "C" axis. During cutting with the oscillating knife cutter the spring-loaded floating ring ensures optimum contact of the material with the surface underneath. Similar to a jigsaw, very small radiuses can be cut. Benz Inc. www.benz-inc.com 704.529.5300
--The Binks MX Series of pumps support one or two-gun spray finishing in air assist airless applications. MX pumps operate at 12:1 and 32:1 ratio delivering 0.4 or 1.2 GPM at 60 cycles per minutes. Panel-mounted control gauges make the Binks MX comfortable to operate. The pumps feature a responsive air motor and fluid section combination that can help reduce rejected parts, lower coating costs and energy consumption. Binks, DeVilbiss. www.binks.com 800.99.binks
--The Cabinotch system is designed to produce more cabinets in less time, providing additional manufacturing capacity. The system can be used in a broad range of sizes and species. Cabinotch. www.cabinotch.com 877.413.4299
--The ETP Cubit is an adjustable system that is designed to be easy to operate with axially access and three steps to making profiles. Precise adjustment can be done by 0.01 mm. First, pressure against the profile tool is released. Then the precise adjustment is done on the adjusting device. Then the tool is pressurized and clamped into position. www.etp-cubit.se
--King Slide Works Co., Ltd. was recognized for its 1A88 push-open-silent-soft-close undermount slide. It uses an all mechanical design intended to save electricity. No handle is needed. The Taiwan company is a manufacturer of furniture hardware including roller drawer slides, ball bearing slides and concealed hinges. kingslide.en.ecplaza.net
--Leitz Tooling Systems, Inc. was awarded for its RipTec technology. The system is designed for window production and it decreases blow-out on end-grain machining and creates a stronger joint, which is sealed against water and air penetration. It can also be used in conjunctuion with finish planers, such as the Leitz CentroStar or VariPlan. On four-side moulders, the RipTec precutter is designed to eliminate plucked grain in difficult to machine woods. www.leitztooling.com 800.253.6070
--Precision Drive Systems was recognized for its Dyna-Loc ATC spindle. It is a compact automatic tool change spindle system that incorporates standard HSK style tool holders. In this design, the conventional drawbar and spring packs are removed and the pneumatic actuator is moved to the front of the spindle. Advantages of this system include: the elimination of accidental tool ejection in the event of a failure; elimination of hollow shaft, drawbar and spring packs; and does not require HSK clamping sets. www.pdscolombo.com
