The International Woodworking Fair announced that it was close to reaching 13,000 advanced attendee registrants for the 2012 IWF, and conversations with IWF officials on the last day of the show indicated that the registered attendee number may be around 15,000.
IWF 2012, which took place in Atlanta, Aug. 22-25, had seen a 40 percent increase in advanced registration this year compared to 2010. Show organizers say industry professionals have registered to attend from all 50 states, up from 42 states in 2010, and more than 60 countries.
“We are up across the board, more exhibits, more products and more buyers,” says Michael Burdis, IWF 2012 chairman and president of James L. Taylor Mfg. Co. “The importance of seeing products first-hand and engaging face-to-face with industry experts is key to our growth.”
