St. Louis-based idX Corp. purchased Lancaster Industries in Cuero, Texas, the St. Louis Business Journal reported.
Both privately-held companies declined to disclose acquisition price and revenue. Herb Lancaster, founder and chief executive of Lancaster Industries, will continue with the combined company as vice president of manufacturing at Lancaster's San Antonio, Texas 59,000-square-foot facility, according to the report.
