The 2011 Washington Manufacturing Awards recognize companies that help to maintain a vibrant manufacturing sector in Washington. The awards are presented annually, to Washington state companies in the following categories: Manufacturing Executive of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Emerging Manufacturer, Nonprofit Manufacturer, and new for 2011 - Food Processing.
The finalists were chosen by an expert panel of judges, which included: Ron Benoit, partner at Moss Adams; Peter Haug, professor of manufacturing management at Western University; John H. Vicklund, president of Impact Washington; Gary White of Tridec; and Bill Virgin, editor and publisher of Washington Manufacturing Alert.
