A Craftsman tool chest serves as a convenient storage and setup station for CNC tooling.
Steve Roark, owner of Roark Woodworking, located in Moorpark, Calif., uses a Craftsmen tool chest, located next to his monitor to store all the extra tool bits for his CNC router. The chest is already divided into convenient compartments and the chest is moveable. It also serves as the setup station for his tooling.
In pursuit of accuracy, Roark makes sure all the machines in the shop have digital gauges on them. This helps ensure precision on every machine and helps with repetitive cuts. Digital read-outs also help do away with errors caused by employees misreading fractional scales.
