Franklin International offers two high-viscosity formulations of its Titebond 50 wood glue, for use in edge and face gluing as well as general wood product assembly. Titebond 50 HV triples the thickness of the original formulation, and Titebond 50 HVV is five times as thick.
Titebond Fluorescent Wood Glue from Franklin International contains a fluorescent additive that allows a woodworker to detect glue marks or smudges by shining a black light over the wood surface. The residual glue can be sanded away, leaving the piece stain-ready. The glue is available in one-gallon cans for smaller shops, as well as five- and 55-gallon containers.
Acrybond and Stoneweld from ITW Plexus are two-part methacrylate adhesives that bond all types of solid surface material, including natural and engineered stone, acrylics, cast polymers and polyester blends, used for kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities.
